As I sit here working on new ideas at 9:00 p.m., the night before Thanksgiving, I am again reminded what a challenge this past year has been. We have rose up from the literal rubble and created many new ideas for years to come. A heartfelt thanks for your loyal patronage over a tumultuous year of a recession where our patrons showed why TheRun4Life is revered as a necessity and not just an ideal of luxury.
This past year proved to be of even greater challenge when faced with the wake of what my last car accident and a bleak recession had left behind. Those of you who know me will understand that when I say the word "challenge", I see it as more of an opportunity rather an obstacle. This year proved more than ever that in order to scale these obstacles; I needed to enlist the help of many of you to forge ahead for these kids. I am thankful for those who have helped TheRun4Life.org grow to such heights.
As I sit with my family tomorrow, I will reflect upon all of your faces that have come through our finish line (so to speak) and will raise a glass to thank you for trusting us to provide new events for the children of our community. From the bottom of my heart, I wish all of you the happiest of Thanksgiving's and a healthy holiday season.
Look forward to many new, out of the box events to come in 2011!
