We wanted to thank Majorpalooza for giving us the opportunity to bring a run for them last year for their event. It was very fun and well received by all. This year however it didn't make fiscal sense and we would not be able to move ahead as an organization by doing so. We wish the best of luck to all of the Majorpalooza crew in 2010!
Events & Ethics-2010
We are now a corporation. Meaning that we have a board of directors and that I serve that board of directors. Our goal in 2010 is to raise money to get timing equipment for ourselves and that can be lent to the school district and surrounding races. Our 2nd goal is to have fitness related activities at all events. Whether we help with a walk-a-thon or a 5k run, we strive for excellence in all we do. We have had some bumps in the road but we truly feel we can make a difference. We will do this with clean family-fun events. All Children's events will be smoke and alcohol free. That is what we will strive for in 2010.
Since our start in 2007 we have done things that no other groups will ever top. We have run our own marathons to multiple Childrens hospitals, 5k events, and the Boston Marathon for children's charity. We want to continue to raise the bar and not settle for less in 2010!
